  4. SUMMARY trying to sew something for her Aunt Beatrice, Ramona was riding on her tricycle while playing her harmonica. Beezus got so annoyed that she had to make a deal with Ramona. The deal was if Ramona stopped playing her harmonica and riding her tricycle, Beezus would read her, her favorite book, the littlest steam shovel. Ramona s parents refused to read the littlest steam shovel to her because they have heard it so many times. After Beezus read the book she, got back on her tricycle and started to play the harmonica again. Beezus yelled at Ramona because she broke the deal. Beezus told Ramona to stop, and Ramona replied I did stop! Ramona pulled the harmonica out of her mouth and said, Read it again! Beezus thought it was useless to fight with Ramona. Beezus thought it would be a good idea if she took Ramona to the library, to pick out a different book. It was a great idea because everybody was getting sick of the littlest steam shovel. When Ramona and Beezus were walking they ran into Mrs. Wisser. Beezus wanted to go back but it was too late. Mrs. Wisser and her friend were already talking to them. After they went into the library, Beezus showed Ramona a book about a duck. Ramona said she would not want a book about a duck. She saw a book in the series of the littlest steam shovel. She grabbed it right away. Beezus and Ramona were walking to check out the book. Beezus used her library card. Ramona looked at it and she did not have one of those, but she definetly wanted one. Ramona asked Beezus if she can get one. She couldn t because she did not know how to write her name. She gave it a shot but it turned out to be: ititititiititiititititititititititi. Over and over again. Beezus said that is not how you write your name! then Ramona said yes it is ! Beezus thought it was useless to fight with Ramona. After Ramona picked out the littlest steam shovel, henry and Ribsy came over. Beezus and henry played chess together. Ramona was really bored. Everywhere Ramona went Ribsy went. Ramona went upstairs and so did Ribsy. Ramona was really mad because she could not play with henry and Ramona. So she put Ribsy in the bathroom. Then Ribsy locked it. He started to bark.
