Breathe in through the nose…hold
for 3 seconds…and breathe out
slowly
 and 
quietly
 through the
mouth.
 
Time to get ready for bed
 
I’ll fill the bath with water or turn on the
shower
 
You will get in and relax
 
I will help to wash you and we can play with
your toys
 
Then, you will get out and I will help to dry you
 
Now it’s time to get into your pyjamas
 
Next, it’s time to brush your teeth
 
Now you need to get into bed. I will read you a
story or you can play with your favourite toy
until I say it’s time to go to sleep
 
Now it’s bed time and time for you to go to
sleep
 
Goodnight and sweet dreams, see you in the
morning
