Interested? No time like the present! How to get started Speak to your branch or region. They should have people who are the educational leads. Start signposting colleagues to courses that you know are running locally. Go to the UNISON website and explore the areas that cover member learning, ULR s and regional training programmes. Find out who else is a ULR in your region and ask them about their role and what they are doing. Start thinking about how you could introduce different types of learning activity in your place of work.
