Two predominant models of version control exist: Centralized Version Control System (CVCS) and Distributed Version Control System (DVCS). In the context of Azure DevOps, understanding the differences between these models is crucial for making informed decisions about code management. -Azure DevOps Training Centralized Version Control System (CVCS): CVCS, as exemplified by Azure DevOps Server (formerly known as Team Foundation Server or TFS), operates on a centralized repository model. In a CVCS, there is a single, central server that hosts the entire version history of the project.
