CANNING WEEKEND 1!!!! Thanks to everyone who went canning last weekend! o Special thanks to Gillian for hosting the weekend trip Canning weekend 2 is November 7-9 :) o If anyone is interested in hosting in their hometown, talk to us after the meeting! (SERVICE POINT) o Driving is a service point too! (weekend or day trips) And the canning weekend 1 total is

Fundraising for THON 1.) Corporate Donations Reach out to past internships or summer jobs, companies of relatives and friends, etc. Businesses don t have to be large corporations. 2.) Donation Boxes Donation boxes are a successful fundraising tool and can be placed at a variety of business locations. 3.) Canvassing Trips Door-to-door solicitation You may go canvassing on any weekend. Canning supplies (cans and signs) cannot be used - instead use solicitation cards and an envelope to collect donations
THONvelopes & THONline emails Just a reminder o Start collecting home addresses and emails Planning ice cream & cookies social to work on THONvelopes and how to complete them o THON committee: 25 THONvelopes, 15 emails o Blood cup, Social/PR: 10 THONvelopes, 15 emails Whoever returns the most THONvelopes and the most THONline emails will win FREE AED THON t- shirt :)
