Rates of homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying in schools remain concerning, with high percentages of LGBTQ+ students facing discrimination. Stonewall's policy manager, Josh Bradlow, highlights the need for proactive measures to combat this issue. The organization's work focuses on advocating for inclusive policies, teacher training, curriculum changes, and fostering a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ students. Despite improvements in awareness, challenges persist in addressing bullying effectively. Stonewall's School Champions program equips educators with resources and support to create safer spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in schools.
