  5. CRITERIA FOR RECONSTRUCTION Existing activities that were previously delivered face-to-face Off-site events High schools College campuses Ability to send kits including materials and tools need to complete activity Re-develop activity so it can be delivered safely at home

LEVEL 1 RTA SIGN-UP NIGHT CAMBRIAN COLLEGE RPT 1 PRE-COVID POST-COVID - RECONSTRUCTED Face-to-face Reduce numbers due to Covid Capacity health regulations On campus tour Delivered through Zoom Paperwork is so important, so we wanted to bring them together and celebrate this with them and their parents/guardians Virtual Campus Tour Paperwork pre-signed An opportunity for them to meet their employers and tour Cambrian s skilled trades labs All employers were invited

TRADES PRE-ORIENTATION CAMBRIAN COLLEGE RPT 1 PRE-COVID POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED For all Trades & Level 1 Dual Credit Students Delivered through Zoom Assist with logging in to College online platform and mandatory lab safety training Break-out rooms for online Health & Safety Training Sent mini-measuring tapes for sizing coveralls Wanted to ensure success prior to starting and so students felt comfortable with the College and staff Health & Safety protocols Helped with retention, ease of transition, student camaraderie and preparedness Covid-Awareness Course Loaner laptops for the day

PARENTS AS CAREER COACHES - CAMBRIAN COLLEGE RPT 1 Pre-COVID POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED Speaker Series Virtual for 2021 Speaker Series Focus on Trades this year featuring Paul Lafrance Theme changes each year Evening event for parents/supporters and their students Evening event for parents/supporters and their students hosted on campus All grades, but focus on grade 7-12 All grades, but focus on grade 7-12 Tied to Jill of All TradesTM where major sponsors will be able to talk at this event also Dinner included

WOMEN IN SKILLS - CAMBRIAN COLLEGE RPT 1 POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED PRE-COVID Skills Ontario event with Cambrian In-person hosted at Cambrian College 3 workshops 2 workshops and 1 panel presentation 75-100 students 3 hands-on workshops 600 students because of virtual Lunch provided Had 28 classes participating Focus on Grade 7 9 Females focus on grade 7 12

JILL OF ALL TRADESTM CAMBRIAN COLLEGE RPT 1 Contingency planned until 11th hour Postponed due to public health directive 150 student participants Hands on workshops Live Virtual Delivery Faculty from the College will be streamed into the classes at the schools and walk them through the workshops with the kits Secondary faculty will be there to assist students Featured speakers at event are: Jamie McMillan Promise Lafrance Jessica Harris Kendra Liinama *This event is in collaboration with Conestoga College

EXPLORE DAYS CONESTOGA COLLEGE RPT7 PRE-COVID POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED Face-to-face workshops (Explore Your Future Days, TNT Days) Virtually instructed videos Workshops split into 1-2 hour long at home activities Students visit campus (full or half day field trips) Multiple hands-on workshops per student (pair workshops based on location) Workshops altered for Covid-Health Restrictions ie. Electrical Boards sent to school boards to use Lunch provided for full-day workshops

EXPLORING ELECTRICAL CONESTOGA COLLEGE RPT7 POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED Electrical Boards constructed and built for workshops to be held at home schools both for grades 7/8 and high schools Pre-recorded You Tube video for instructions, trades and employment pathways Booklet with pre-workshop, safety, class activities and FAQ Tools to complete all activities

  16. PLUMBING CONESTOGA COLLEGE RPT7 POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED Plumbing You Tube video Kit sent to class with activity material and supplies Tools to complete the activity Kit moved to other schools

  17. CULINARY EXPLORATION CONESTOGA COLLEGE RPT7 POST-COVID RECONSTRUCTED Ricotta Cheese Making video At home or within high school hospitality class Send kit to home school or food voucher if at home Also included is an industry video on cheese making
