META-DATA registration in CBAs META-DATA = signatories from employers and employee s side, startdate, industry classification, number of workers covered Many European countries have a governmental institution that registers and approves CBAs, called registry Registries maintain files with META DATA of CBAs in the country WageIndicator collects these files and merges it >> CBA_META_DATABASE_YYYYMMDD Coders can select the CBA they want to code and the META-DATA is prefilled, with an option to change if needed Why? It eases the CBA coding and improves the coding of the industry classification Now data from Portugal, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Estonia in progress, more to come
