7THINTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 2021 Yoga@Home
COVID-19 Related specific guidelines If Yoga sessions are arranged at common place then it should be either in the open place or inside well ventilated hall only. Avoid to do yogic practice inside air conditioned room/hall. Follow strict COVID appropriate behavior during yoga practice as instructed by Government of Gujarat and Government of India time to time. In case any person having fever, cough or cold then they should practice yoga in isolation at home. COVID-19 positive patients (symptomatic or asymptomatic) and those who had suffered from COVID-19 and now they are negative, in the both the conditions they should perform Yoga only after consultation with physician. If any person is residing in the containment zone then they should do yoga practice only at home. During yoga practice at common place please strictly follow Government of Gujarat and Government of India recent guideline.
Guidelines and common instructions for yoga practice on 21st June 2021 Come with empty and clean stomach. If feel weakness, a glass of luke warm water with a teaspoon of honey can be taken before yogic exercises. Dress: Loose clothes as indicated below For boys/men : T-shirt and half pant/lower For girls : T-shirt and lower or Kurta and legging For women : Kurta and Pazama/legging or Salwar and Sameez A daree/yoga mat of 6' x 2' or 6' x 4' and napkeen should bring for yoga practice. (A) Any person with illness/disease (viz., high/low BP, cardiac problem, stomach ache, lung problem, arthiritis, migrane, etc.) should consult to the yoga trainer Dr. Diwakar Singh before joining yoga session, through email: diwakar@nau.in or phone : 9979246301, for necessary instructions. (B) Any person having COVID-19 symptoms or COVID-19 RT-PCR/Antigen positive result or post COVID-19 complications should compulsory mention during registration and also inform to Dr. Diwakar Singh and should follow all instructions before joining yoga class. Please take bath or food after 20-30 minutes of completion of yogic exercises. Do not over stress for any yogic exercise. Login at least 10 min. before scheduled time at the venue. If you have to do yoga at common place then please reach at least 15 min. before scheduled time i.e. 06:45 AM.

Important instructions for joining at home One can join by mobile/laptop/computer. Pleaase connect speaker with the mobile/laptop/ computer for better audio quality. If possible connect your mobile/laptop/computer with your smart TV for better visibility. If doing at common place then yoga coordinators should arrange to display online yoga session through projector or big TV. Yoga coordinator should also perform along with online session in front of staff members. They should also be ready for offline mode incase of power/network failure. If not able to join on zoom, alternatively see the live session on Youtube (in mobile/ laptop/computer or smart TV) by following link: https://youtu.be/dVI8I25A_M8 Note: This time due to adverse weather condition there may be power cut so offline video of common yoga protocol can also be downloaded from NAU website after 19.06.2021 (prepared by NAU, Navsari) and uninterrupted program may be continued.
