Insights from Landscape Approach Discussions
During Wednesday's discussions, emphasis was placed on developing a common understanding of Integrated Green Growth (IGG), building trust, monitoring progress, and harmonizing policies. The importance of actor involvement, participation, and inclusiveness was highlighted. Coordinating initiatives and the role of platforms in bringing stakeholders together were also explored. The need to scale small projects, adopt a landscape approach, and enhance natural resource efficiency was discussed, along with clarifying roles and responsibilities and addressing costs. Thursday's focus shifted to building on existing initiatives, identifying key tasks, involving key stakeholders, securing funding sources, and leveraging these to influence policy decisions.
