  2. What is bullying? Bullying is hurting someone on purpose, over and over again. It can happen face to face with actions or with words or it can happen online through a phone, tablet or computer. Bullying can be shouting at or teasing another person. Bullying can be saying unkind things about someone s body. Bullying is hurting someone on purpose, over and over again. 2

  3. What can you do Don't blame yourself: If you experience any kind of bullying, it s never your fault. You don t deserve to be treated badly by others and you should speak to an adult you trust about it. Bullies often want a reaction, so retaliating plays into their hands and could get you into trouble too. Take your time before responding. Save the evidence: Take screenshots and save messages so you have proof of what has happened. Tell someone what's happening talk to an adult you trust, like a parent or a teacher. Report, block, mute: Most social media sites have methods of blocking or muting others. Make sure you familiarise yourself with these tools. 3

The isolation of the last year has made us more aware of how little acts of kindness can brighten the lives of the people around us. Remember: Small actions make a huge impact.
