Family and Children Services in Suffolk County, led by Division Administrator Michael Licata, aims to ensure the safety, well-being, and permanency of all children. The FCSA consists of essential units such as Child Protective Services Investigations, Child Protective and Preventive Services, Child Placement Bureau, and Management and Administrative Services. The process begins with hotlines for public and mandated reporters, followed by assessments to determine if reports of abuse or neglect warrant intervention. This organization works tirelessly to protect children from harm and provide support to families in need.
