2024 Roosevelt Teddys On behalf of the Coaching Staff we are excited for the upcoming season for the Roosevelt Football Family! Many have asked me how we define success? To be successful, this family needs to know how to love each other unconditionally. They need to know how to accept responsibility, reject passivity, lead courageously, and remain humble. The players will grow in their ability to play football. But more importantly, they will grow into individuals of strong character: people that will go on and make this world a better place. Summer Schedule Thursday, June 13th @ 4PM Player meeting Fortis Summer Sports Performance Program (free to all Roosevelt Athletes) June 17th June 27th /July 8th July 25th Monday-Thursday 9AM to noon June/July football practices One or two evenings (7PM to 8:30PM) a week Scheduled via TeamSnap app Wednesday, August 7th @ 6PM Fall Sports Information Night at Roosevelt Monday, August 19th @7PM Football parent meeting at Roosevelt including launch of Schoolfundr fundraiser Regular season practices begin Monday, August 12th Monday, August 12th 23rd practices held from 4PM to 7:30PM Monday Friday Saturday, August 24th scrimmage with Washburn 9AM to 2PM @ Roosevelt (players need to arrive @7:30AM) Practice schedule the week of August 26th TBD Practices during the school year/football season will occur immediately afternoon school except on game days Saturday, August 17th - Team Retreat at Coach Lossow s cabin Retreat begins @9AM at Roosevelt starting with team photos (media day) 11AM bus leaves for cabin 11PM bus returns to school Any adjustments to dates and times will be posted on TeamSnap
Hopes and Dreams Through fundraising efforts we are planning for the upcoming season, we want to fund activities/items as such Additional coaching staff Summer retreat (August 17th) Senior pictures displayed in the stadium Team dinners Senior night End-of-season banquet Offseason workouts Equipment (guardian helmets) Apparel for players

Chain crews needed for all team (varsity, JV, B Team) 2-3 people and may include high school students Team dinners Host the day before each varsity game @ 5:30PM Possible donations from; Fat Lorenzos, Raising Cane s, and Chick-fil-A Need volunteers to supply food and supplies
Fundraising Dine Out Nights Wednesday, September 18th 5PM to 9PM Chipotle Mexican Grill 1830 E 66th Street, Richfield, MN Tuesday, October 15th 4PM to 9PM Raising Cane s 3000 Snelling Avenue, Minneapolis, MN Main fundraising campaign kicking off Monday, August 19th Parent meeting @7PM Teddy bleachers weather permitting Players will set up app following practice Fundraising via Schoolfundr Gate ticketing & concessions (4 games to cover) Concessions - 4 home game per session = 8 half to cover concessions 16 people needed - (Sept 6th, Sept 27th homecoming, Oct 3rd, Oct 16th ) Gate ticketing - 2 people each home game = 8 people total More Dine Out Nights will be posted on TeamSnap Legion Pancake Breakfasts (once a month during school year)
