Welcome to the Title I Math course! Students are expected to come prepared with essential supplies daily, log in to Google Classroom, complete assignments diligently, and take notes in their 3-ring binders. Attendance responsibility, tutoring availability, grading criteria, and curriculum focus on Google Classroom and GetMoreMath are outlined. Stay updated on grades through the school webpage and contact teachers for assistance or inquiries.

  1. Open House Welcome to Title I Math

  2. Student Responsibilities Be prepared for class each day with Chromebook, pencil, 3-ring binder, planner, calculator, and homework. Log in to Google Classroom EVERY day during your assigned class period. Check the classwork tab for daily assignments.

  3. The 3-ring binder will be used to take notes for each lesson that can be used to study from before each assessment and for help with homework. Homework must be completed in pencil with all work shown. Calculators can be used as long as work is shown on paper.

  4. If absent, you are responsible for missed work. Please check the google classwork tab and contact the teacher by email if you have any questions. Tutoring is available during 9th period Flex and after school from 2:30-3:00 in room 370 when scheduled with teacher as needed.

  5. Grading **Grades will be based on the following** Assessments (tests or quizzes) Projects Homework Preparation

  6. Tests will be worth 100 points and the point value of other items will vary. All test scores will be posted in the Focus grading portal, but any hardcopy tests will stay in the student s folder and kept in the classroom. Please contact the teacher to see a test or for a conference.

  7. Google Classroom and GetMoreMath (www.getmoremath.com ) will be the main focus to teach the curriculum this year which is aligned to the PA Common Core standards. Students will use their username and password as assigned by the school. Standards can be viewed at www.pdesas.org
