  2. Gordon Gekko, Wall Street Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures, the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms: greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge, has marked the upward surge of mankind....

  3. Jon Foreman, lead singer for Switchfoot Greed, envy, sloth, pride and gluttony: these are not vices anymore. No, these are marketing tools. Lust is our way of life. Envy is just a nudge towards another sale. Even in our relationships we consume each other, each of us looking for what we can get out of the other.

  4. Sir Frederick Catherwood Greed is the logical result of the belief that there is no life after death. We grab what we can while we can however we can and then hold on to it hard.

  13. 1 Timothy 6:910 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

  14. For the sake of argument, lets say you rich man were genuinely wronged. Go ahead and be wronged! You will survive, and the church will be better off.

  18. Luke 12:33-34 Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
