Monitoring vitals for mother S. No. Vitals Screening of conditions 1 Temperature Hypothermia - shock Hyperthermia - fever, maternal exhaustion, infection/ sepsis 2 Pulse Tachycardia - Shock, fever, maternal exhaustion, infection/ sepsis, anaemia, heart or respiratory disease 3 Respiratory rate Tachypnoea - Shock, fever, maternal exhaustion, infection/ sepsis, anaemia, heart or respiratory disease 4 BP Hypertension(=>140/90) - Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy Hypotension(Systolic <90) Shock 3
