  2. Giraffes print A giraffes print colors are light brown yellowish whitish and could blend in to things

  3. Giraffes long necks Giraffes long necks help them reach for food high on trees they also use them to see further away

  4. Giraffes heart Giraffes have an extra large heart to pump blood up there long necks to the brain.a giraffes heart is 2-3 times stronger than humans

  5. Giraffes long tongues Long tough tongues enable the giraffe to pull leaves from branches without being hurt by thorns during feeding. There tongues are up to 18 inches long

  6. Why giraffes are able to go without water for long periods of time A giraffe can consume up to about 12 gallons of water at one time when drinking from a water whole They also obtain water from a dew on the leaves they eat and the water contained in there food

  7. Fringed tail A fringe at the end of the tail keeps flies and other pests away

  8. Hoofed feet A tough hoof protects each foot so it doesn t step on stickers or other things that could get into your foot

  9. Tough lips Helps giraffes eat leaves off the trees and spiky thorned trees
