2. Generosity is about more than giving cash, it is about behaving towards others as God has behaved to us. Colin Baron, church planter

3. God is extravagantly generous and our generosity is a response and reflection of Him. Bethel Church

4. Generosity confronts our poverty mentality, changing the way we interact with the world. No longer anxious because we mistakenly believe provision is scarce, we are confident that God multiplies resources and is eager to rescue and [provide for] people. Bethel Church

21. Now about the collection for the Lords people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up . 1 Corinthians 16

22. Tithing is a formational practice that can help us grow into maturity. Money has a hold on us in devious ways. When we give, we loosen the grip money has on us. Tithing 10% is a way of training our lives to become like our generous Lord and live in greater freedom from attachments. Rich Villodas
