Wear camouflage or military gear Wednesday, October 27th Be a superhero, say NO to drugs! Dress like your favorite superhero Thursday, October 28th Lets say, Peace Out to drugs! Wear tie-dye or 70 s apparel Friday, October 29th Hugs, not Drugs! Bring your favorite stuffed animal to school.

For younger students, let them know that they should only take medicine from a trusted adult. The school nurse, a doctor, a parent, and NEVER from a stranger or another child. Watch Natural High s (naturalhigh.org) free celebrity drug prevention videos with your child and use their discussion questions to have a conversation with them about drugs and alcohol. Recommended for 2-5 grade. Get to know the parents of your children's friends. Work together to set boundaries and monitor behavior. DID YOU KNOW (thinking ahead) Children of parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don't, yet only a quarter of teens report having these conversations.
