The Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) Program by the California State Parks Division of Boating & Waterways aims to provide funding for boating-related projects. From Tier I projects with grants up to $200,000 to Tier II projects up to $1.5 million, the program supports various activities like tie-ups, amenities, security, safe harbors, soft costs, and dredging. Since 2000, over $18 million has been awarded for 37 projects in California. Current projects include the City of Avalon Pumpout & Water Station and Treasure Island Marina Transient Dock. Completed projects such as Raley's Landing in West Sacramento have received federal awards. For more information, visit dbw.parks.ca.gov/BIG.
