Yordan`s Day Yordan's Day is one of the biggest Christian holidays, celebrated on January 6. This is the day on which Yohn the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Yordan River. After the sacrament of the Epiphany, people saw with their own eyes the Christian trinity of Father (voice), Spirit (the dove perched on the shoulder of Christ) and Son (earthly man) and began to believe, so the day is also called Epiphany. To this day, the days are considered dangerous and demons roam The Earth - they are called "Dirty Days". With the baptism of water, the world becomes a safe place to live.
Table On the table on Yordan's Day is placed pie, pork, sauerkraut, stuffed peppers, beans, wine. Women who have recently given birth ,make cookies and give them to relatives and neighbors for the child's health.
