  6. 17.4 Lane Infringement 17.4.3 & 17.4.4 allows one single step 17.4.3 allows one step on the line around the turn in laned races 17.4.4 allows one step on or over the line around the turn in non-laned races What it means for AO officials: Negligible as we rarely (if ever) DQ based on a single instance however we should still document as there may have been other instances elsewhere on the track

  7. 17.4 Lane Infringement Carry-forward of infringement

  8. 17.4 Lane Infringement (cont) This is describing how only a single instance of a single step is allowed. A second step, either in the same race or in a later round, will mean a DQ. What it means for AO officials: Some impact if there are multiple rounds of an event (outdoor 200s only likely possibility)

  9. 17.4 Lane Infringement Additional note: What it means for AO officials: Clarification for when 17.3 (laned races) and 17.4 (non-laned races) apply and no carry-forward for CEs.
