Weekly Agenda: 8/22 to 8/26/22 Weekly Agenda: 8/22 to 8/26/22 Weekly Opening: Journal Writing Citizenship Word of the Week Weekly Work Period: Southwest Asia s Geography Cloze Notes 1-3 Students will use PowerPoint presentation to complete notes. Southwest Asia s Map Students will work as a pair, using a political/physical map to label countries and physical features of Southwest Asia.

3. Weekly Agenda: Weekly Agenda: 8/22 to 8/26/22 Be the Thing Students will choose ONE of SW Asia s physical features and the class will try to guess what it is based on the description. Students must provide descriptive details, include at least 5 interesting facts about the physical feature. SW Asia s Insta-Snaps Activity Students will draw 3 pictures of places that they would like to visit in SW Asia (based on what they learned in the lesson). They should include a #summary for each picture. SW Asia s Souvenier T-Shirt Design Students will design a t-shirt that represents their favorite physical feature from the lesson. Have students create a slogan on the shirt & include symbols to represent the feature. 8/22 to 8/26/22

SW Asia s Geography Comprehension Check The students will complete this handout at the end of the lesson. This counts as quiz grade.
