The Waste system in Middelfart Kommune From October 2020 Every households have 3 bins, where the Municipality collect: Paper and Cardboard Metal Glass Batteries Organic waste from food All other kinds of everyday waste. But people are expected to bring some waste types to the recycling facility www.middelfart.dk

  4. The Recycling facility All municipalities have recycling facilities like ours. There are 4 recycling facilities in Middelfart kommune Examples of sorts of waste, that people are expected to bring to the Recycling plant: Big cardboard Plastic Textile Harzardous Waste Garden Waste Demolished building waste Wood, fx fences and furnitures www.middelfart.dk

Its Compulsory/mandatory It is compulsory for private people to use the waste system The fees have to reflect the actual costs Businesses also have to sort their waste, and have an arrangement with a company that can pick up their waste Businesses can chose to use the local recycling facilities, but have to pay when they use them www.middelfart.dk

  11. Examples Tell businesscollege students about bussinesmodels Tell the oldest school pupils about sharing economy, and discus why we consume as we do? Give the broader public knowledge about small and easy tings they can change in their everyday life, so they take more care of the climate Teach the youngest schoolkids about waste, and nature www.middelfart.dk

  12. This is always on my mind: It has to be down to earth, eventhough it is complicated It is okay to tell that it is complicated It has to be relevant for the listeners Let the listeners think and reflect, actualley no one knows all the answers because it is a transition www.middelfart.dk
