The office of Graduate Medical Education A department of Stanford Health Care, not Stanford University GME currently sponsors 121 ACGME residencies and fellowships Over 1400 trainees Please feel free to seek us out in the coming months and years. We have a variety of resources available to you and your families.

Licensing MBC + OMBC All PGY1,II, III new to California: Postgraduate Training License Have up to 180 days (after start of PGY) to have a valid CA license PGY I,II, III already with PTL from another institution or program: Need old program and new program to notify medical board via Program Status Update Form (PSU) + Enrollment Form (EF) PGY IV and up in ACGME Fellowships: Have up to 90 days (after start of contract) to have a valid CA license PGY IV and up in Non-ACGME Fellowships: Must be in possession of a valid CA license before seeing patients
