  1. EDEXCEL GCSE English Literature Walking-Talking Mock Exam Paper 1 Section B (An Inspector Calls) You should have: An exam paper Lined paper AT LEAST one pen! Different coloured highlighters

  2. An Inspector Calls 16 marks are available for AO1 (interpretations, use of quotations, knowledge of the text, answering the question), 16 marks for AO3 (context) and 8 marks for AO4 (SPAG accuracy)

Priestley was a socialist and he ridicules Birling to make a comment about the dangers of capitalism. He wants to challenge the audience and society to change their ideas about class and poverty.
