DESCRIPTION OF MAIZE PLANT Maize plant is the tall annual cereal grass( zea mays) originally domesticated in Mexico widely grown for its large elongated ears of starchy seeds. Maize plant is a plant that produces long objects covered with yellow seeds called sweetcorn.it is often grown as a food crop
How long does maize plant take to germinate? Maize approximately in 4 to 10 days. Seed germination and optimal when soil temperatures are approximately 29 to 32 C. At 12- 15 C Maize will take 10 to 14 days to emerge. At 18-21 C Maize only takes 5 to 8 days to emerge. seeds germinate emergence are
