Need to find an evaluation partner to conduct evaluation of how this funding has helped community pharmacist development. Initial meeting with evaluation partner being arranged for feb 2020. Completed Hypertension pilot CT/CB SC/AH DR All final docs sent out to pharmacies, pharmacists trained, Whatsapp group being used for comms/sharing ideas etc, pharmacists beginning conversations with practices on how to get the service up and running - further support meeting for pharmacists arranged for 4thDec. Need to work with CCG regarding evaluation (currently looking for additional funding to help with evaluation; CT to contact PSNC) Sexual Health Service CT/AH Although proposed new model for EHC supply reduces access through pharmacies (out of hours provision only) PCS may still be looking at reviewing provision of other elements of sexual health service provision and are open to exploring what could be offered through pharmacies continue to have conversations with PCS about this. Ongoing LMC joint flu letter CT To be agreed before start of next flu season joint statement issued October 2019 aim to get this issued earlier in 2020 Hepatitis C test & treat pilot of clients collecting methadone/buprenorphine CT/AH Very early discussions. Initial research suggests some testing pilots through pharmacies in London, no one currently helping with supply of treatment (very expensive drug). Need to link in with DACT clinical network agenda item for their next meeting Jan 21st GP-CPCS pilot DR Pilot sites; Network North (Grenoside practice) & Townships 2 (Jaunty & Woodhouse) engagement with 4thpractice (Ecclesfield) has been difficult, on hold for now. Pharmacies visited and engaged. PharmRefer set up. Ongoing support being provided for both practice staff & pharmacies to get the service up and running. Ongoing
