AHSAA 7-Man Mechanics for Football Referees
In the AHSAA 7-Man Mechanics guidelines for football referees, there are specific instructions regarding pregame routines, captain meetings, kickoff procedures, and positioning on the field. Changes in the 2014 rules include adjustments to the second-half captain meeting and the kickoff decision process. Referees are required to enforce rules, manage player zones, and ensure a smooth game flow from pregame activities to kickoff and throughout the match.
