What is community justice? the collection of individuals, agencies and services that work together to support, manage and supervise people who have committed offences, from the point of arrest, through prosecution, community disposal or custody and alternatives to these, until they are reintegrated into the community. (National Strategy for Community Justice, 2016: 8)

  4. Strategic aims 1. Prevent and reduce re/offending 2. Rehabilitation and reintegration into communities Strategic planning, collaboration, equal access to services: Effectively managed, person-centred transition where the needs of individuals are assessed and addressed. (NSCJ, 2016: 22)
