Falls are a significant risk for older adults, with most incidents occurring at home during routine activities. Vision impairment, muscle weakness, and medications are common contributing factors. Fear of falling can lead to reduced quality of life, increased frailty, and social isolation. Evidence-based falls prevention programs offer structured approaches to reducing falls risk and improving overall well-being for seniors.
