3 components Of IOT Device The Amazon Echo Dot is a small connected home speaker that is, it connects to your home Wi-Fi network and also to the phone via the Amazon Alexa app. Physical Cylindrical Box structure LED rim around the loop Four Buttons A power Button Mute Button Volume Controls Outside casing is available in White & Black Power Cord Smart : Echo is appropriately named, as this device has the ability to work on voice commands based on Natural Language processing Connectivity : The device is connected through the power cord. The IOT device is connected through WI FI or through Alexa app. The ring around the top of the device will glow blue, then orange. Now, you ll need to connect the device to your home s wi-fi network.
Capabilities Of Alexa Monitor Alexa has been designed based on the Natural Language Processing which is a unique feature of using the voice commands to monitor and control devices attached through this device/app. Control Streaming music and podcasts from Amazon Music Unlimited, Spotify, Pandora and iHeartRadio Adding items to your to-do list and shopping list Setting kitchen timers and recurring alarms Looking up facts and unit conversions Playing a curated "flash briefing" of news headlines from the sources and topics of your choice Controlling compatible smart home gadgets, including lights, locks and thermostats
