Scope At least one Indian worker has died while cleaning sewers or septic tanks every five days since the beginning of 2017, according to the first official government statistics on the work, considered one of country s deadliest jobs and most insidious form of caste discrimination. - The Guardian Tamil Nadu had the highest number of sewer deaths with 144 cases, followed by Gujarat with 131.   4. Scope India generates 75,020 MLD per day as per Govt. Data in 2017. The Swachh Bharat Mission has estimated to entail an investment of over 3 trillion. Urbanization is taking place at a faster rate in India & 31% population in living in urban area. Under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Indian Government provide grant of 87,144.00 Crore to develop new urban facilities. $500 million from WB and $1 b from ADB over 5 years (2015- 20) in the works for urabn development which includes Sever/ Drainage cleaning equipment grants too. Under Current Modi government, NITI Ayog want to eradicate manual scavenging with Morden machineries.

In India only old generation jetting machines available with government authorities & it requires to replace with new ADR Combined Suction Jetting Units. As per census 2011, there were 227 Municipality, means City areas with urban drainage network.
