LAWS ON DIVORCEMENT Matthew 5:31 it has been said, Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. " Deuteronomy 24:1,2 HEART ADULTERY Psalm 66:18; Proverbs 23:7 Matthew 5:28 looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." 2 Peter 2:14 having eyes full of adultery

NO SACRIFICE TOO GREAT TO AVOID AN EVIL HEART AND INTENTION Matthew 5:29,30 Better to lose an offensive part of the body that for the whole body to be lost eternally DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE FOR ONE REASON Matthew 5:31,32; Deuteronomy 24:1,2 Matthew 19:3-9 Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?

Hardness of your hearts no such looseness is granted in the Gospel ONE CAUSE FOR REMARRIAGE AFTER DIVORCE- EXCEPT FOR FORNICATION Only the one sinned against has the RIGHT to REMARRY

We belong to God and must be true to Him and to His Will for us SOME HAVE FAILED TO HEED GOD S LAW OF MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE Churches, Preachers, Elders and members alike seek to relax this command of God The say It s an individual matter. Each must be guided by their own conscience. Just don t talk about it! Don t make an issue of it!

Do you see the consequences of DON T ASK, DON T TELL?

Matthew 14:4
