Scandalous Scandalous! ! Judaizers Bridges Class May 14, 2023
Judaizers Judaizers Some believers from the Pharisees declared, The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses. So the apostles and elders met to look into this matter. After much discussion, Peter said to them, Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you that the Gentiles would hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, showed His approval by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for He cleansed their hearts by faith.
Judaizers Judaizers Why do you test God by placing on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace that we are saved, just as they are. We should not cause trouble for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. (Acts 15:1-21)

Payday! Payday! The kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. He agreed to pay them a denarius a for the day and sent them into his vineyard. About nine in the morning, again about noon, and at about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. About five in the afternoon, he found still others and told them, Come and work in my vineyard. (Matt 20:1-7)

Judaizers Judaizers Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. For it is we who are the circumcision, who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh. I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but that which is through faith in a Christ the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.
