  5. PART 2 Environment issue

  6. Issue The physiographic region The cordillera Forest fires Happens in summer because of the extreme heat and lack of moisture in kamaloops

  7. Kills Animals Humans Forests Habitats increase carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, causing greenhouse effect and climate change ashes destroy lots of the nutrients and erode the soil, causing flooding and landslides Consequences of issue

  8. Solutions Curent solutions Forest fire fighters Use firefighting tools such as hoses, axes, and handheld radios Operate and maintain skidders and bulldozers Participate in water bombing operations Dig trenches, cut trees, and pump water onto burning areas Ariel firefighting Fire bans

  9. Imagine the world 50 years from now With the increase of tempature each year because global warming, forest fires will increase with the current solutions we are using. But if we start fighting fire with fire by using methods like prescribed burning, we can make paches in forests to stop the flow of fire that attacks our forests. Because of how close the trees in forests are, its easyer for forest fires to burn. But intentionally burning small areas with a controlled flame to create small spaces between areas can stop the flow of fires, and can reduce dead fuels that harm us. So with prescried burning we can limit the crazy big fires that break out. So in 50 years fire will happen its natrual for fires to come up once in a while but crazy mega fires will stop in 50 years if we use the prescribed burning method.
