  3. LifeCourse Framework Core Belief All people have the right to live, love, work, play and pursue their life aspirations in their community.

  4. What Really Matters? Where do you want to go? (Trajectory) What is important to you? (Person Centered Thinking) How are you supported along the Journey? (Person Centered Thinking and Integrated Support Star) Actions we take to achieve what really matters! All levels: Systems level, Communities, Organizations, Family, Individual

  5. What Really Matters? How can this question be applied at all levels and all people? How do LifeCourse and Person Centered Thinking fit in this pursuit?

  6. 4+1?s What have I tried with integrating my thinking and use of PCT and Life Course key area is What have I learned about .? What am I pleased about...? What am I concerned about? What are my next steps?

  7. What have I tried with integrating my thinking and use of LC and PCT? Personal First!!! PCT on my journey with cancer & LC with my son with disabilities setting the trajectory and integrated supports star. Integrating Life Course into work with PCT Coaches Training new Support Coordinators Internal community of practice for LC Integrating into the state ISP Guide Presented at Virginia and TLC Gathering

  8. What have I Learned? Missing link to achieve what really matters at all levels Both are brilliant, needed and help all people achieve control, find hope in their lives. Same language is used by people beginning to use both concepts --- making it a habit. You see it playing out in people s words. Same struggles experienced in rolling out/launching among service professionals Need to be able to articulate clearly how they skills and framework compliment and work together. Different and equally powerful. SC s need to know the philosophy, values and principles of Life Course and Person Centered Thinking

  9. Learned The goal is achieve person centered supports and help people achieve their vision of a good life Life Course adds another dimension to the conversations and vision of what is possible Teachers are eh about the portfolio but that is the same as my experience with one page profile

  10. Pleased about LifeCourse deployment feels doable, energizing, and lots of AMAZING stories very quickly THE BUZZ!!! Intuitive Guides the work of the Support Coordinator My son is clear about his vision for a good life Life Course is trained in minimal time, graphics are very helpful, information is easily accessible, knowing this is a big national effort. National effort lots of partners in this work

  11. Concerned About Pressure Ben puts on himself to achieve his vision of a good life working to learn it is a work in progress and OKAY to change your mind. I am doing what works to training new SC s integrating and blending of PCT and LC. Others may not have this opportunity how do we make this easier to do? Soooo many other things to do (personal frustration)

  12. Next Steps Collaborate with all of you! Keep revising, learning Practice taking small steps and feeling good about small sustainable changes.
