  5. Etheree. An Etheree is a ten-line unrhymed poem. Line one is one syllable long. Line two is two syllables. Each line continues to grow by one syllable until line ten is ten syllables long. Activity Think of something you are thankful or grateful for. Write an Etheree poem about what you are grateful for. Share!

  8. Snow falling on trees in a forrest Challenge Keep a gratitude journal for a few days this week. Start by listing 5-10 things you are thankful or grateful for. Write a journal entry about one of the items on your list. Write as many entries as you feel comfortable with about things you are grateful for. And/or respond to one of the journal prompts on the next slide Contoso S u i t e s 8

Who is someone in your life you appreciate at the moment? Write a letter of gratitude to them. What are 3 things you accomplished today (or yesterday) that you are proud of and need to pat yourself on the back for? What would be your ideal location to live? City, suburbs, or out in the country? House or apartment? Having to drive a car everywhere or being able to walk places? Where in the world? If you had unlimited money/resources/connections, what gifts would you give to the people you appreciate in your life? Get creative. How would you describe the mood you are in right now? Make a playlist for that mood. Write whatever you feel like! Choose one or two entries you d be willing to share during the next class. Contoso S u i t e s 9
