Not only that, but poor-quality rice, pulses, and inappropriate food for kids are occasionally produced at several Bengali ICDS centers, along with lizards occasionally found in the food. It is occasionally causing illnesses in kids at different Anganwadi centers. Such examples exist in multiple instances. Furthermore, it has lately been apparent from the data that these ICDS centers have quite outdated infrastructure. As soon as the issue is made public, the state government is heavily under pressure.
