Psychological impact of Long Covid in children and young people includes sleep problems, worsening of pre-existing psychiatric symptoms, emotional distress like depression and anxiety, and mixed results in terms of quality of life and resilience. Beyond physical symptoms, psychological effects such as anxiety, social withdrawal, and coping mechanisms are also observed. Psychologists play a crucial role in providing specialist support, structured rehabilitation, and psychological care to help children and young people recover. References provide insights into the impacts of Covid-19 on children's mental health.
