Executive summary Purpose Our journey Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Benchmark Report Our organisation is required to report annually against the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. This report summarises our gender equality performance against industry benchmarks provided by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Our journey Alternative way of reporting our journey The Workplace Gender Equality Agency has outlined 6 phased to explain where an organisation is on the gender equality journey. Over the last five years, CSC has moved forward from Compliance (stage 1) to Programmatic . GEI 1: Gender composition Reporting under Gender Equality Indicator 1 (GEI 1) provides information about the gender composition of the workforce in a standardised format. It is intended to cover a range of workforce characteristics including occupation, classification and employment status. The term governing body used in this indicator is broad, and means a board of directors, trustees, committee of management, council or other governing authority of the employer. Governing bodies represent the highest level of decision-making responsibility in organisations.
