Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, Look, God s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.
One of the most wonderful things about Heaven Is what will NOT be there!
No more desire to rebel. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at For God did not spare even the angels who You won t die! the serpent replied to the woman. Our greatest deliverance in heaven will be from ourselves!
No more confrontation with evil. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone There was no longer any sea . ~Revelation 21:1 who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty but only those whose names are written in the Lamb s Book of Life. ~Revelation 21:27
No more expectation of death. No longer will there be any curse. ~Revelation 21:1
No more anxiety over time. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. ~Revelation 21:1
No more separation from God. Look, God s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. ~Revelation 21:22 NLT himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. ~Revelation 21:3-4
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with Gods people. Amen. ~Revelation 22:21
Heaven is grace uninhibited and unending!
