We can use the auxiliary verbs do ,did and
does :-
 
1-To give emphasis to  a verb .
 a-He stole the money .
    He 
did steal 
the money .
b-She eats all the cake .
   She 
does eat 
all the cake .
C- They play chess everyday.
     They 
do play 
chess everyday .
 
 
Simple past verb:- 
did + base verb .
 
Simple present verb (singular ):- 
does + base verb .
 
 
Simple present verb (plural ) :- 
do + base verb .
 
Use did, do and does to emphasize the verb .
 
1-The students enjoyed the art day .
   The students did enjoy the art day .
2-This train goes to London .
    
This train does go to London .
3-We heard Miss Jackson speech .
   We did hear Miss Jackson speech .
4-Luice takes good photos .
   
Luice does take good photos .
5-The reporter wrote a good article.
The reporter did write a good article .
 
2-To contradict a previous negative
statement.
 
He didn’t work hard .
No, he did work hard .
 
She doesn’t steal the money 
.
No , she does steal the money .
 
They don’t  live in Amman any more .
No, they do live in Amman .
3-To avoid repetition of the verb .

 money more than you

 .
