Why upgrade? Ellucian PowerCampus Product Support Lifecycle PowerCampus provides application support for the most current release along with the most current prior minor release. Patches that have been delivered to these versions are considered a release. Effective June 2015, the releases being supported are 8.5.5 and 8.6.1 PCNEAT 2015: IT S NEW YORK SWEET 9

How do we address the concerns we have identified? There isn t anything on the newest version we need. Be active in the user community engaging Ellucian. Every version should have something that your institution sees as valuable. PCNEAT 2015: IT S NEW YORK SWEET 13
How do we address the concerns we have identified? Testing and rollout activities take too long. Develop a testing plan that places the responsibility on the department heads. Encourage there involvement and listen to their concerns. Ellucian has restructured Self-Service and Database upgrade activities to minimize pain during upgrades.
