John received a revelation from God
during his stay on the Island of
Patmos.
He received a vision about a book
with seven seals on it.
The book contains God’s future plans
for the whole world and humanity.
The books provides a description of
the forth coming judgment on all
sinners and backsliders as well as
victory for all saints.
The book is sealed to ensure the
secrets are kept from humanity and
opening the book needs the
authority of a special person.
Just like a locked phone needing a
password to unlock it, so does the
sealed book. It requires a password
to unlock the secrets within its
content.
The one person with authority to
open the book is Jesus. Without His
authorization, the book remained
sealed for ever.
The seven seals represents seven
different revelations, events or
destruction that will come upon all
the earth.

When John found the book sealed
and none worthy of opening the
book, he wept.
He wept because if the book
remained sealed, God’s plans to
judge sinners and bless the saints
will go unfulfilled.
However, praise the Lord! Jesus
came to open the books.
The King of all kings and the Lord of
all lords opened the book
This means we need to dedicate
each day and moments to praise
God for His majesty and supremacy.
