  1. THE SECRET OF CIPHER COVE WALKTHROUGH Ignite interest in STEM Tablet-Academy.com

  2. CHALLENGE 1 Challenge 1 uses a simple Caesar Shift cipher with a shift of 1 characters. X Y Z A B C D E F A B C D E F G H I Challenge 1 Caesar Shift Cipher By deciphering the message UFO Y UFO, students should reveal a simple sum TEN x TEN. 7 0 1 7 0 1 7 0 1 To exit the room, students must enter the answer 100 using the rotational dials on the wall (See opposite) 6 2 6 2 6 2 5 4 3 5 4 3 5 4 3 Ignite interest in STEM

  3. CHALLENGE 2 Challenge 2 uses a Pigpen cipher. In order to solve this challenge, students must stand on each of the three coloured blocks and look down to reveal each of the three hidden clues. J K M N 0 P Q R L A B C D E F G H I Challenge 2 Pigpen Cipher To exit the room, students must enter the answer BAD using the rotational dials on the wall. A W S A B C A B C B C Y U X T Z V D F D F D F G H I G H I G H I Ignite interest in STEM

  4. CHALLENGE 3 Challenge 3 uses a Transposition cipher where characters have simply been reversed. By reversing each of the messages in each room, students should reveal the following code: Ciphertext Plaintext TEN EN. Challenge 3 Transposition Cipher To exit the room, students must enter the answer 2042 using the rotational dials on the wall (See opposite) 7 0 1 7 0 1 7 0 1 7 0 1 6 2 6 2 6 2 6 2 5 4 3 5 4 3 5 4 3 5 4 3 Ignite interest in STEM

  5. CHALLENGE 4 Challenge 4 uses a simple Substitution cipher where each characters has been substituted with its numerical position in the alphabet. By reversing each of the messages in each room, students should reveal the following code: Ciphertext Plaintext 3 C 1 A 20 T 3 C 8 H Challenge 4 Substitution Cipher To exit the room, students must place the piece of paper containing the password CATCH in the hopper (See above). Ignite interest in STEM

  6. CHALLENGE 5 Challenge 5 uses a Substitution cipher where each number corresponds to a symbol in the periodic table. By substituting each of the numbers with the corresponding symbol in the periodic table, students should reveal the message: Use Banana Challenge 5 Substitution Cipher To exit the room, students must enter the word BANANA using the rotational dials on the wall. Ciphertext 92 34 56 11 11 Plaintext U Se Ba Na Na Ignite interest in STEM
