A-380 IN FLIGHT KITCHEN Do you like airplane food and can t get enough of it but you don t want to go through airport security and wait in long lines to get it anytime you want? Well, the A-380 in Flight Kitchen in Taipei provides you with a unique dining experience that allows you to feel like you are eating on an airplane from the luggage compartments right down to the seating that looks like airplane seating. Although you don t get to experience flying on an airplane while you eat, you do get to choose more than just chicken and fish for your meal.
DINNER IN THE SKY Ever wanted to eat in the sky? This restaurant is in Belgium and you get to go clear up in the sky to eat your dinner. This place is definitely not recommended if you are afraid of heights since it goes 150 feet above ground. You are sitting at a table and strapped inside a crane that lifts you up into the sky. Then you are served ham salad and saut ed prawns that are cooked inside a smaller than normal oven in the middle of the whole thing.
HOSPITAL RESTAURANT Although this restaurant is called D.S Music Restaurant it is in Japan, this name in no way tells you what it is like inside. Once you walk into the restaurant, you are wheeled to your table in a wheelchair by wait staff who are dressed like nurses. Once you are seated at your table, you are then served drinks from IV like contraptions which hang from the ceiling. The nurses then ask you trivia questions and if you get them right, you get shots of fruity drinks squirted into your mouth from a syringe. Wow! Who thinks of these places?
ICE HOTEL RESTAURANT The main restaurant of the famed Ice Hotel chain is, oddly enough, not made of ice. But they do serve meals on plates made from the ice of the Torne River, which borders Sweden and Finland.
GIRAFFE MANOR You get to share your food with giraffes that poke their heads through windows and doors. The Giraffe Manor is located in the Lang ata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, which is home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.
HOBBIT HOUSE You get served by dwarves. The Hobbit House bar was founded by former Peace Corps volunteer and professor Jim Turner. The bar is located in Manila, Philippines, and has a facade with a large colorful circular door and pictures of Gandalf, Bilbo, and Gollum on its left and a leprechaun on the right. The bar also has a large painting of all the members of the Fellowship of the Ring inside.
VAN GOGH IS BIPOLAR You get served by a bipolar chef with foods that alleviate bipolar disorder and are named after famous bipolar people. Located in the north of Manila, Philippines, the restaurant is named after the famous post-impressionist painter, Vincent van Gogh, who is believed to have suffered from bipolar disorder throughout his life. The restaurant s owner Jetro Rafael who also suffers from the disorder has turned his own house into a place people can come and eat food that helps relax and calm them. The eating area has a very whimsical decor and lighting and is filled with van Gogh s artwork.
SONEVA KIRI, KOH KOOD, BANGKOK Experience the flora and fauna of Koh Kood rainforests up close in this amazing dining experience. Soneva Kiri offers its customers a unique Treepod dining service where diners are hauled up in bamboo platform. With the magnificent tropical forests all around you, the entire experience feels like something straight out of an adventure movie! The Ninja restaurant at New York is famous for its ninja performers who impress the diners with their tricks and super cool moves. The dark and dingy d cor of the place further enhances the theme and it feels as if you re in an action packed ninja movie rather than eating at a restaurant! Known for its delicious sushi and other Japanese cuisines, the Ninja restaurant at New York gives you the authentic oriental experience.
