  7. Long line of vehicles that cannot move easily.

  8. What are the causes of traffic jam?

  9. Violation of traffic rules.

  10. Narrow road.

  11. Overtaking tendency.

  12. Corruption.

  13. The excess number of rickshaws.

  14. What are the effects of traffic jam?

  15. Patients in the ambulances suffer much.

  16. People suffer from frustration.

  17. Officials cannot reach their office in time.

  18. *How can this problem be solved?

  19. Flyover should be made.

  20. Rickshaw moving should be forbidden in the cities.

  21. Traffic police should be active.

  22. Unlicensed vehicles should be sized.

  23. Unlicensed drivers should be arrested/punished.

  24. Specious roads should be constructed.

  25. Sufficient traffic police need to be employed.

  26. Strict law may be passed in the parliament.

  27. Seminars may be arranged to make the drivers conscious.

  28. Group work. -Discuss about the reasons, effects and solutions of traffic jam. Then make a short note using key points.

  29. Evaluation: a) Write down the two reasons, two effects and two solutions of traffic jam.
