Rewrite the sentences as one sentence, using the word in brackets. 1. The film was very sad. Everyone cried. (so) The film was so sad that everyone cried. 2. It was a very good meal. We ate far to much. (such) It was such a good meal that we ate far too much.
4. The trousers were very cheap. I bought six pair. They were such cheap trousers that I bought six pairs. 5. The film was very bad. Most people walked out. The film was so bad that most people walked out.
enough/too Kasutatakse samuti millegi r hutamiseks. Too on omaduss na ees. Ex: It s too difficult to do that. Enough kasutamine: 1) enough + noun. Ex: Are there enough books? 2) enough + noun + to. Ex: Are there enough people to start the class? 3) adjective + enough + to Ex: Is it cold enough to turn on the heating?
Rewrite the sentences as one sentence, using the word in brackets. 1) How much mone have we got? Can we pay for the tickets? (enough) Have we got enough money to pay for the tickets? 2) He can t walk far. He is oled. (too) He is too old to walk far. 3) My boss was kind. He paid for the meal. (enough) My boss was kind enough to pay for the meal.
4) How much food is there? Can we feed everyone? (enough) Is there enough food to feed everyone? 5) The teacher was very stupid. He believed the children. (enough) The teacher was stupid enough to believe the children. 6) I can t understand him. He speaks very fast. (too) He speaks too fast to understand him.
