In his essay "Why We Crave Horror Movies," Stephen King explores the psychological reasons behind people's attraction to horror films. He delves into the idea that such movies serve as a cathartic release for our subconscious fears and anxieties. Readers are prompted to consider whether they resonate with King's viewpoints on the appeal of horror movies or gain a new perspective on this genre. This analysis also touches on cultural trends addressed by horror movies and prompts reflection on other forms of media reacting to societal shifts.
